Identity
SunMoonSeed Foundation is a Canadian international non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing intergenerational solutions for global human, environmental, cultural, and systemic challenges. Guided by principles of Indigenous respect, ethical governance, environmental stewardship, and global cooperation, the Foundation supports initiatives that protect sacred lands, strengthen cultural knowledge, promote education and research, and foster responsible partnerships between Indigenous Nations and modern institutions.

Mission and Strategic Purpose
The Foundation exists to foster collaboration between ancient and modern civilizations by developing intergenerational solutions to global human, environmental, cultural, and systemic challenges. Its objectives include supporting Indigenous-led initiatives, safeguarding sacred lands and biodiversity, advancing ethical governance and policy development, promoting environmental regeneration and climate action, strengthening education and research, and facilitating partnerships between Indigenous Nations and contemporary institutions.

Guiding Values and Ethical Framework
All operations are guided by principles of Indigenous leadership and respect, environmental stewardship, transparency and accountability, intergenerational responsibility, ethical governance, and global cooperation. The Foundation works to support Indigenous-led initiatives protect sacred lands and biodiversity, strengthen cultural knowledge systems, promote education and research, and foster responsible global partnerships that contribute to long-term planetary wellbeing.

Programs and Operational Activities

The Foundation may undertake a broad range of initiatives including research and resource centres, environmental protection projects, cultural preservation programs, educational and healing initiatives, conferences and global assemblies, ethical economic development activities, digital awareness platforms, grant-making, and strategic partnerships.

Governed by an independent Board of Directors and committed to transparency and accountability. The Foundation allocates its funding to Indigenous-led and allied community initiatives, including environmental protection, cultural preservation, healing, education, policy development and ethical impact projects, as well as organisational operations and sustainability such as fundraising, technology, core team salaries and administration and program delivery support.

 

This structure reflects our belief that lasting intergenerational impact requires both direct investment in communities and a strong, accountable organisation capable of stewarding that work over time.

 

All compensation is reasonable, role-based and aligned with non-profit and charitable sector standards. No funds are distributed as personal profit or private benefit. Donor-restricted funds are honoured strictly according to their designated purpose, and financial records are maintained in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements.
